I created this piece as part of a continuing studies course I took back in 2013 on Illustration for Picture Books.

In my digital art, I like to bring in traditional elements to keep the piece looking organic and hand-made. For this piece, I love that you can still see the rough nature of the original pencil sketch of Red Riding Hood and the wolf. To create the misty background I manipulated and put in multiple layers of a rough painted wall.
